A high-scoring contest culminated in a close finish, the Dumplings falling just 11 runs short of a tough target as the last pair safely negotiated the final three overs. Apart from one opener on each side, all the top order batsmen made some runs, with three fifties for the Foresters and two for us. Grainger laid our foundation, but we began the last 20 overs needing 7 an over, at which Kelmere and Todd made a brave effort to get us so close, in 56 overs against their 62.
