 Ford and Ashmore set us up with an opening stand of 91 at better than a run a ball. Tidball and Curtice carried on the good work most effectively, adding 83. Nobody was out for fewer than 23, and we rattled up a big score in our 45 overs, at 6.22 an over. 

North Devon started much less well, with 69 for 4, but then nos. 5 and 6 both made fifties. Tidball then took three cheap wickets, and at 161 for 8 they seemed done for, but no. 10 stood firm to help add 71 till finally Curtice came on to clean up the last two wickets, and they were all out in the 43rd. over, to give us another good win.
